Sanctioned Tournaments
The calendar below lists tournaments that will be included in NPDL National Rankings and can be used to qualify to the NPDL Tournament of Champions. The calendar will be updated on a rolling basis as tournaments apply and are approved.
Tournaments marked as ‘Auto’ in the Approval column below will count for points.
Tournaments marked as ‘Auto - Pending’ will count for points after they publish their invite and it satisfies the auto-approval criteria (see XXI.11.A).
In-person tournaments will count for points.
Otherwise eligible online tournaments will count for points as below:
In New York, NYPDL tournaments will count for points.
In Oregon, tournaments sanctioned by OHSSL-CA (to be listed on SpeechOregon.org) will count for points.
In California, the first three varsity parli league tournaments of the season run by each CHSSA league (CFL, GGSA, CVFL, SVFL Kern, SVFL Redwood, YFL, SCDL, TCFL, WBFL, CBSR, OCSL, and SDIVSL) will count for points. These will not be listed on the calendar, however, due to being local tournaments.
Other tournaments can be added to the calendar and count for points if they fill out our application and are approved by the Board.
Points eligibility requirements are set by the Board Code (see XXI.1), and include:
a minimum of 10 teams,
a minimum of 5 schools in the varsity parli division,
tournament invite published by October 1 or at least 30 days prior to the start of the tournament.
Tournaments run after March 1 will be included in the rankings but will not count toward NPDL-TOC qualification.
Any sanctioned tournament may apply to be added to the NPDL Tabroom.com circuit.
