The National Parliamentary Debate League is excited to announce a new position for interested high school debaters: our media internship! For the 2019-2020 school year, we’re looking for one new person to join our team—someone who’s interested in communication, wants to help the NPDL reach even more debaters, and is willing to develop our social media presence.

Together with our news team, the NPDL Media Intern will shape the voice of the league, help critical content reach new audiences, and strengthen the sense of community in parliamentary debate.

Position Details:
- Develop a social media strategy for our Instagram account.
- Publicize news and opinion articles on our media platforms.
- Expect to put in roughly 2 hours of work per week on social media content and strategy.
- Gain communication, social media, and work experience to build up your resume.

Want to become an NPDL correspondent?

APPLICATION DUE October 1st (11:59PM PDT)

The National Parliamentary Debate League invites you to apply for a correspondent position for the 2019-2020 school year! These positions are open to all high school parliamentary debaters in the United States with an interest in writing, a love of debate, and the goal of making a difference. 

Our correspondents write news articles, interview and engage with their fellow competitors, and strengthen their voices in the parliamentary debate community. 

Position Details:
- Collect results, resolutions, and information about tournaments in your region.
- Write news articles after tournaments. 
- Expect to put in roughly 3 hours of work per week on information gathering (or less, if you work fast).
- Make a name for yourself, gain communication and organizational skills, and practice journalistic writing.
